´╗┐Grand National Engine Wiring Diagram - Which Section of the Brain Is Located at Stage 4 in the Diagram? ? In most cases people know the positioning of the areas of the brain that are used for specific purposes but not the location of the other pieces. The function of every region of the mind differs depending upon the person. The arrangement of the mind is an indication of that part of the mind is responsible for that function. Gyrus - The biggest area of the mind and is in charge of motor function, language and vision. The gyrus also processes the words you hear. The gyrus plays a part in language as it's the part of the mind that understands the significance of words. Thalamus - This part of the brain has three main parts. One part is that the bulb that's located behind the eyes and can be responsible for vision. The other two chief parts are the thalamus and the corpus callosum. The thalamus connects the left and right hemispheres of their brain and is also where the cerebrum which controls muscle movement joins with the cerebellum, which controls the motor control of the human body. The parietal lobes are responsible for the recognition of voice, face and movement. If you should look at somebody and flip a light around to illuminate the face you would see their eyes, mouth and the form of their face. When a individual is faced with a particular situation they activate the parietal lobes. The temporal lobes are also responsible for hearing and recognizing noise. If you turned to your television to see a movie and suddenly the picture moved out there would be a possibility that you missed seeing some thing. Globus Pallidus - The globus pallidus is a portion of the brain that contains two parts. The most well-known part of the globus pallidus is the amygdala, which controls emotions and memories. The other part of the globus pallidus is the thalamus, which can be located close to the base of the skull. Occipital Lobes - This component of the brain is located just above the eyes and is responsible for motion, eyesight and being able to differentiate colour. The parietal lobes include the place that we use to identify color. The occipital lobes may be seen whenever someone looks up and seems down and it allows them to have the ability to point and focus. Parietal Cortex - The region of the brain that is responsible for facial recognition is the parietal cortex. It's the component of the brain that regulates facial recognition. The section of the brain that controls our sense of touch would be your somatosensory cortex.
